Things to do with LHPAC this weekend

I can say happily that "Middle of Nowhere" is a thoroughly absorbing film. This is the kind of quietly moving movie I usually discover late at night, then can't let go of until it's finished.
It's opening weekend for the film in the Seattle area, so catch it if you can at the AMC Tukwila. "Middle of Nowhere" is presented by the  Langston Hughes Performing Arts Center (LHPAC).

One last thing: if you love poetry like you love air, try the "Circles of Life" readings tonight at the LHPAC. Sharon N. Williams' performance is part of  ArtsCrush -- "31 Days of Creative Adventures." Here's a sample of Sharon's other work.

Have a great weekend!

FTC disclosure: I'm partnering with the LHPAC on a series I call "Thursdays with Langston Hughes," generally published on Thursdays. I am being paid an honorarium for my work. However, all opinions and views expressed in this series are my own.
