Think you could help me spend a hundred dollars?

It’s an honor just to be nominated — but I’ll gladly accept the prize!

This week I received one of two Juror’s Prizes for my work exhibited at 2020 Vision! The winning assemblage sculpture, “They Don’t Really Feel Pain,” is available in my shop. I just picked it up last weekend from the annual members’ exhibit at the Center on Contemporary Art (CoCA Seattle). That was the last exhibit I saw in person before the coronavirus quarantine went into effect statewide.

And I haven’t seen juror Nichole DeMent, CoCA’s immediate past executive director, since March. (That’s about a year in quarantine time, I figure.)

My prize, a $100 Blick gift card, is now burning a hole in my virtual pocket! I could always use more ready-made frames, but I also want to splurge on art materials I don’t technically need right this moment. Any suggestions? Let me know on Facebook or Instagram.
