Thought I was only working on getting ready for Best of the Northwest? Oh nononono. I'm getting ready for a second big exhibit! If you follow me on Facebook, you saw some photos from "Onyx Fine Arts Collective: A Decade of Art" at the Northwest African American Museum...

To celebrate the next decade of art, "Real and Imagined Spaces" is on display at the Washington State Convention Center. Guess who's invited to the artist reception? You are.

Make the trip to the reception -- you won't be disappointed! Come up from a different state if you have to, like my in-laws did...

Art fair prep: bringing my best to Best of the Northwest

I'm putting the final touches on a few new pieces as I get ready for the October act of Best of the Northwest show.

I need more clamps. Maybe an actual book press?

And by "trying something new" I mean "not making new work up until the last minute so I don't get stressed out." But as you know, the tasks expand to fit the time available (about 22 days -- eek). So I'm keeping myself busy tying up loose ends. Details you'll need to know:

DATES: October 24, 25 & 26 (Friday-Sunday)

TIMES: 10am-6pm Friday & Saturday, 10am-5pm Sunday

WHERE: Magnuson Park, Hangar 30
