Can you help me find my studio?
I'm starting to feel like my studio is a far-off land I'm trying to get to, but all the flights there have been delayed indefinitely.
Thank goodness for Fresh Paint's requirement that you either demo or make art.
That's how I got started on three altered books. Here's where I left off on one:
Visitors to my Fresh Paint festival booth examine a book I altered before their eyes.
More details soon... I gotta catch that plane to Studio Land.
Art festi-full: one last note
Before things get too hectic, here's how to find me this weekend: follow the strains of festival music and look for a shredded paper trail.
Kidding!... sort of. Details for Thursday at So Bazaar:
I'll come up for air on Friday, and then on Saturday you'll find me at Fresh Paint:
If you see a piece you like...
I'd suggest you put a deposit on it to secure it. (My last altered book, "Legendary," sold before I could even add it to my inventory for this weekend.) Hope to see you soon!
Fresh Paint festival: Reasons to buy local
As I prepare for the upcoming Fresh Paint festival of working artists, let me entertain you with an article near and dear to the hearts of independent artists like me.
This refresher from The Examiner pretty much says it all. I have the most wonderful supporters in you, so please consider this either a love letter -- or a good justification for why you brought home five pieces of art from my booth. Enjoy!
