Artist Trust At Large: south Sound-bound
Maybe I was intoxicated by the sunshine, but the University of Puget Sound was looking really good the other day. The art department's Kittredge Gallery, the Wheelock Student Center across the street... just charming.
Come see for yourself: I'll be upstairs in the student center for my Artist Trust At Large presentation next week! Details:
Remember, this event is FREE and open to artists of all disciplines. At previous presentations, I've met musicians, performers who perform traditional dances from India, sculptors and painters just to name a few. You're bound to have some interesting conversations with new people after the talk. Looking forward to seeing you there!
Busy week ahead: "Best", "BALLYHOO" & Artist Trust
I have been a Very Busy Woman, wrapping up details for not one! not two! but three! Three art events in a row. First up: Artist Trust at Large, in Snohomish.
If you live/work north of Seattle -- especially if you're in Snohomish County like me -- this is the Artist Trust overview you've been waiting for. Email me to reserve a spot. Details:
While you (or your artist friend) are digesting this info, clear your calendar: it's gonna be a busy weekend... Two days later, the Gary Henderson Gallery kicks off BALLYHOO, a group exhibit! I'm in very good company here: Juan Alonso-Rodriguez, Laura Castellanos and other artists far cooler than me. Maybe some of it will rub off on me.
And in the same weekend: Best of the Northwest, Act One! Look for me in booth L3, along the far left wall (see map). I've already pre-sold a couple of items...
... but I'll have more collages, altered books and prints available. Pro tips: you can get in free on Friday night 4pm-8pm, or buy a two-for-one ticket and bring a friend! Looking forward to seeing you soon!
SPACE at Magnuson: the Artist Trust frontier
The word is out: Wednesday evening is Artist Trust at Large/Seattle presentation night! In case you missed it, here are the details:
Some have RSVP'd from the far corners of Seattle, while others are literally just steps away. SPACE at Magnuson is housed in a building full of artist studios.
Visitors to artist Heather Carr's studio, as seen during Open Studio day in May 2015.
If you can't make it to Magnuson Park, please email me at the Contact Me link and I'll put you on an RSVP list for a later ATAL presentation. Looking forward to sharing this information with you soon!
