Speaking of Onyx Fine Arts...
The party is FAR from over at King Street Station! Come back for a closer look on Saturday!
Three artist talks are scheduled for the month-long showing of "Truth B Told." Each will be presented from 1pm to 3:30pm. Here's the lineup:
If you missed the opening reception (and I gotta say, you did miss out!) good news: Onyx Fine Arts will host a closing reception on February 4th. But don't wait that long! This is a big show with lots to see -- and hear.
Onyx Fine Arts: Invitation from the 'King'
I know most people think of trains and buses when they see King Street Station, but I've only ever experienced it as the cavernous, sunlit art venue it is now.
And I'm reveling in the fact that my work will be shown there throughout January!
Of course, when you see them they'll be on the walls. ©Lisa Myers Bulmash
I'd love to show you around at the reception this Sunday. Details:
By Sunday, this space will look like an urban prairie full of art, with light pouring in from every side Come see it in person: you'll be floored.
Looking forward: an uncertain new year
So many bizarre and incomprehensible things happened in 2016 that I'm more than ready for 2017.
Of course there were a few good things too. Even so... not so sure what this new year will bring.
It won't be sparkles and rainbows, that's for sure, but I know I'll be busy.
Here's wishing everyone a not-totally-pessimistic new year.
We'll probably get through it okay, but I think we're going to need each other's help. A lot.
