Museum exhibit in five... four...

It's the final countdown: the last week before I present You're Not From Around Here, Are You? at the Northwest African American Museum!

You're invited to experience the contemporary art of Lisa Myers Bulmash at the Northwest African American Museum! Come explore the multifaceted and often fraught experiences of being Black in the Pacific Northwest. Exhibit runs November 5, 2017 - April 8, 2018.

I've transported the art (three trips, man!) from my studio to NAAM...

THIS is the big deal I've been working on in semi-secret: The Great Mystery Project. You're Not From Around Here, Are You? is my exploration of African American identity in the Pacific Northwest.
